What’s been happening:

After 6 years, left PSU in 1972 with BS & MS to join Coopers & Lybrand in NYC. Passed CPA exam in 1975. While working in NYC, found a few free winter weekends to discover downhill skiing, which became a lifelong passion. In 1976, accepted transfer to C & L's Springfield, MA, office to be closer to the ski areas of VT. In 1ate 1978, I met a blond, blue-eyed beauty from Texas and knew I had met my wife. She felt the same, and in February 1980, Jill Bickford and I were married in Victoria, TX. We purchased our first home in E. Longmeadow, MA, in 1979 and had our first child, son Andrew, in 1984. In 1985, I accepted the position of VP Finance with Petricca Industries in Pittsfield, MA, and moved to our new home in the small town of Lee, MA. We had our second child, daughter Leslie, in 1988. Today, I am still with Petricca Industries, and we still live in the same house in Lee. Our son Andrew is a grown man graduating from the Univ of VT in 2006, and our daughter Leslie is a junior at Mass College of Art & Design in Boston. Jill and I are now looking forward to retirement and spending our whole winter skiing in VT, rather than just weekends, and enjoying the summer pleasures of the Berkshires of Western Mass. Summing up the past 40 years, I've earned 2 degrees, had 2 employers, purchased 2 homes, had 2 children, but only one wife. The best things in life you only need to do once.
